§ 13-70. Penalties.

  • Any person, and any person acting on behalf of such a person who shall conduct activities which require a license under this article without first obtaining such a license or has not maintained such a license in current effect and paid all license and renewal fees in connection therewith or who shall make any false statement in any application for a license under this article, or shall fail to keep such books and records as shall fully and truly record all transactions connected with the holding, operating or conducting of games of chance under any such license or shall falsify or make any false entry in any books or records so far as they relate to any transaction connected with the holding, operating and conducting of any game of chance or under any such license, or shall violate any of the provisions of this article or of any term of any such license shall be a disorderly person and, if convicted of violation hereof, shall:

    (1)

    Be fined in accordance with the provisions of section 1-8, except as otherwise provided in this article;

    (2)

    In addition, forfeit any license issued to it under this article; and

    (3)

    Be ineligible to apply for a license under this article for one (1) year after the date of violation.

    Each day that any such violation as described above is permitted to continue to exist shall constitute a separate offense as to each violator.
