§ 7-5. Court costs.

  • (a)

    Reasonable costs of court may be assessed to persons convicted of violations, which assessment shall be in addition to any fine or punishment imposed for the violation.

    (b)

    Court costs shall be collected according to law.

    (c)

    The mayor in mayor's court is hereby authorized to impose court costs not to exceed thirty dollars ($30.00) for each offense as defined by local ordinances in cases of violations of municipal ordinances.
