§ 4-28. Penalties.

  • (a)

    All persons who violate this article, whether they be the owner, keeper or custodian of the dog involved, or persons convicted under section 4-27(a) and (b), shall be punished by a fine of twenty-five dollars ($25.00).

    (b)

    On a second conviction the offender shall be fined thirty-five dollars ($35.00).

    (c)

    Removal of dog. On a third or subsequent conviction the municipal court or any court of proper jurisdiction shall impose a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00) and/or take full possession of the dog. The court may place the dog with any suitable person or agency, full ownership of the dog being vested in said person or agency.
