§ 3-15. Closing hours.

(a)

Any person licensed to and selling, serving or dispensing alcoholic beverages at retail under this chapter shall be closed during the following hours:

(1)

Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. weekdays.

(2)

Between the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Sundays.

(3)

Between the hours of midnight Sunday to 6:00 a.m. Monday.

(b)

In addition to the restrictions under subsection (a), any permittee licensed to sell at wholesale under this chapter shall be closed between the hours of 2:00 a.m. Sunday and 12:00 midnight Sunday.

(c)

Restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, or other businesses exempted from the provisions of R.S. 51:191, by the provisions of R.S. 51:192, may remain open for the sale of items permitted by R.S. 51:192.
