§ 2-2. Time of elections; terms of office of officers elected.

(a)

Municipal elections shall be held at the same time as the congressional elections in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statutes 18:402(B).

(b)

The municipal officers elected shall take office on the first day of January following their election and shall hold their office for four (4) years.
