The itinerant vendor's license provided for by this article shall not be transferable,
nor shall it give authority to more than one (1) person to sell or exhibit goods,
merchandise or services as an itinerant vendor, either by agent or clerk or in any
other way than the vendor's own proper person; provided, however, that any person
having obtained such license may have the assistance of one (1) or more persons in
conducting the sale or exhibit who shall have authority to aid that principal, but
not to act for or without that principal.
