§ 12-27. Water main tie-ins.

  • (a)

    A water main tie-in is the same as a water main connector and a water main stub-out, all meaning that point where and that device by which a private water line from a structure connects into a public water main.

    (b)

    Each lot must have a water main tie-in on the lot. The water main tie-in shall be buried in the ground no more than three (3) feet from the surface of the ground, it shall be directly accessible form the surface above and shall not be covered by any obstruction, including without limitation to any structure, street, sidewalk, or driveway.
