§ 10-11. Regulation.

  • (a)

    Every principal structure movable or immovable in use as, or capable of being used as, a residence, recreational building, meeting hall, place of worship, civic commercial or industrial enterprise, whether for profit or non-profit, in the Town of St. Francisville shall have a street address number identifying its location. The Town of St. Francisville will designate street address numbers, and the owners or occupants shall acquire and post the physical numbers on the property in compliance with the provisions below.

    (b)

    "Street address numbers" are those identifying numeral consistent with identification as set forth by the Town of St. Francisville which are recognized by the United States Postal Service and which, according to 911 regulations, are the correct address numerals to properly identify the location of the property within the Town of St. Francisville.

    (c)

    A single residence structure not divided into separate living quarters shall have a particular street address. Where two (2) or more separate living quarters exist in a connected structure (duplexes or townhouses), each residence shall have a separate particular street address.

    A multi residence structure (apartment building) divided into separate living quarters shall have a particular street address with each apartment identified separately, all in a manner such as "2356 Maple Street, Apt. 2."

    Every mobile home park shall have a particular street address with each individual trailer space identified separately, such as, "Site 2." Every mobile home park shall have a community site map showing, as applicable, names of the mobile home park roads, space numbers, and emergency telephone numbers for owner(s) and/or manager.

    (d)

    An institutional structure shall have a particular street address.

    (e)

    A commercial or industrial structure serving a single enterprise shall have a particular street address. Where such a structure is separated to house more than one (1) enterprise with separate entrances, each establishment shall have a particular street address.

    A single entrance office or commercial structure divided into separate accommodations shall have a particular street address with each office identified separately, such as "2356 Maple Street, Suite C."
